Fuego Torch

The Fuego is a traditional-style pocket light that's powerful enough to be used as a primary light, yet comapct enough to fit in most BC pockets. The light runs on four C-Cells and a single 5 watt LED delivered the brightest hot spot in it's class with a 2 foot wide beam and enough of a halo (about 3 feet out from the beam's edge) to illuminate the periphery on a night dive. It has a rubberized co-molded body that allows for a good grip and a locking On/Off switch that you can activate one-handed. If we (Scuva Diving Testers) could only have one light for both day and night diving, the Fuego would be our clear choice.

Frogman Diving Torch

The Frogman dive torch is a LED torch which of course means to most of us its bright, its got a nice clear white beam and it has a great burn time. In fact you can expect to get around 50 hours simply on 4 x AA batteries. Its only 160mm in length and weighs a mere 220.5g. So small and so light you wont even know you’ve got it. Depth rated to 60m, which should be enough for most of us. This torch could easily be used as a primary torch or for those of us that prefer our Alpha’s as our primary this is a great little backup.
