Commercial Course No. 57 - Week 12
Monday 20th July
Back to Dartmouth for the final dives of our level three course and also the deepest of the dives of the three months of training, one dive each to 48m using the hot water suits - the moment we have all been waiting for!! The task completed was the cube of death!!! What I hear you say - well it's really a children's co-ordination task where you try and put shapes into specially designed holes - sounds easy - try doing it at 48m - a big challenge for big kids!!

Today is our last day of diving and we continue with the cube of death again at 48m... You can't help but feel the excitement of the students as the day is coming to a close, they have done it! They have all successfully passed their course, all they are waiting for now is the presentation of their cards, certificates and of course the prized Descend polo shirt!

No more diving so it's back at our home base today for a MAJOR cleanup to finish off the course. All equipment is unpacked, cleaned, accounted for and repacked for our next course which is currently running.

The finish of course and today we say goodbye to course 57, this has been a highly successful course, the group along with our instructors have worked so well together that we are one day ahead of schedule and everyone gets to finish early. The morning is spent with a final cleanup, filling out paper work and signing everything off, then after lunch the presentations were made. Well done everyone, we wish you all the best for the future!
