Open Water Course

START YOUR ADVENTURE TODAY WITH DESCEND..

Courses are run in three different formats;

- 2 nights a week for 3 weeks

- one week full time

- home study for theory, plus attend pool and sea weekend

Each course consists of;

- Four nights of theory instruction

- Three nights of pool instruction (extra pool may be required)

- Full weekend of open water diving at Queenscliff

- Two nights accommodation

- Three shore dives

- Two boat dives

- The use of all high tech equipment (standard sizes)

- Education materials – text and log books

- Certification card and certificate

- 12 months complimentary membership to our club

- The opportunity for further education through to instructor level & commercial diver

- World recognised qualification through Scuba Schools International (SSI)

A divers medical certificate is a pre-requisite to attend this course and is available at an additional cost. It must be completed PRIOR to starting your course.

Course Cost: Only $550.00 Course Deposit $100 with final payment due on night 1 of course.

Dates: October/November 2009

Open Water Course: (Monday/Wednesday format)

Week 1: Monday 19th Oct & Wednesday 21st Oct

Week 2: Monday 26th Oct & Wednesday 28th Oct

Week 3: Monday 2nd Nov & Wednesday 4th Nov

Week 4: Monday 9th Nov

Practical Weekend: 14th & 15th November

Cost: $550 incl. gst

Dates: January 2110

Open Water Course: (Full time Format: Monday - Saturday)

This course is run full time during the day, Monday - Thursday in Albury covering all thoery and practical requirments.

Theory dates Monday 4th Janauary - Thursday 7th January

Practical weekend Queenscliff: Friday 8th & Saturday 9th January

Cost: $550 incl. gst

More dates will be released for 2010 closer to the season.
